LifeFuels – a new company has launched its first ever product – a smart nutrition bottle that was selected as a 2016 CES Innovation Award Honoree. It adds pre-measured amounts of concentrated supplements and flavors to the water inside.
There’s a circular screen lodged in the outside center of the bottle, with two buttons underneath to select which FuelPod you would like to infuse your water.
Though it looks like a normal protein shake bottle from far off, but at the top portion of the bottle, it holds up to five small packages or FuelPods.
Once you’ve made your selection, with the help of a sensor inside of the bottle, it automatically dispenses the correct portion for the amount of water in the bottle at that time.
Special Features of the Bottle
- Automatic dispensing
It stores multiple vitamins and flavors for dispensing into your water anytime, anywhere.
- Long battery life
It has a long battery to keep up with your busy life. You can charge it wirelessly in your home, car, or office. Both the screen and the motors – responsible for dropping in the supplements has to be recharged wirelessly, every couple of days — depending on how much you like to supplement your life.
- Wireless syncing
The bottle syncs securely with an app on your phone via low energy Bluetooth, allowing you to view usage data, buy and track all your daily vitamins and dispense water directly from your phone.
- Water level aware
This bottle knows how much water you’ve had to drink, and lets you know how much is left.
It keeps you hydrated all the time through any activity and fits easily in your hand and in your cup holder.
This BPA-Free Tritan bottle is durable and 100% leak-proof. You can keep it in your purse or gym bag without worrying.
The first round of preorders of the bottle is already sold out and the company is now taking preorders for a second round — alongside 10 supplement pods, the set is priced at $195. LifeFuels is focusing on athletes, gyms and personal trainers at this initial stage. The company is aiming for a wider retail launch later in 2016.
