If you are one of those PS4 owners who are upset that they can’t play their PS3 games on it, Sony has great news for you. The company announced that around 40+ PS3 titles have been added to the PlayStation Now Library and can be played on the PS4.
Sony PlayStation Now is a service that is available in PS4, some selected Sony Bravia TVs, and Samsung Smart TVs. You can stream to play more than 150 PS3 exclusives and 300+ games through the service, this is the way Sony handles the backward compatibility demand.
It requires a compatible PS4, a smart TV or PS Vita, a DualShock 4 controller and $20 per month to get the service of PlayStation Now. It also offers a 12-month subscription for $99, which is a Christmas special and is going to expire on January 11. So, if you are interested, just hurry up.
The titles available in PlayStation Now are:
- Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception
- Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty
- God of War: Chains of Olympus
- God of War: Ghosts of Sparta
- Heavenly Sword
Among them, the last three are already available for PS4 and have been released as a collection on Physical PS4 copies. We are hoping for some more innovations for PlayStation 4 from Sony in its CES press conference later today.
