If you have switched on the Uber app on your smartphone, you may have had noticed something different that left you probably, confused. Uber with a new logo and advertisement in this new year that will help them to diversify its product line today or sometime in the future.
The initial “U” logo has disappeared and replaced with a white circle that also has a square embedded into it. The square according to Uber represents “bit” that will be shown on its website as well as the app itself. As a result, it will be easier for the company to add further products/services in its existing line, such as Uber adding its food delivery service.
The presence of this square center bit on any product signifies that it also belongs to Uber.
According to the press release from the CEO of Uber, Travis Kalanick wrote,
“Celebrates our technology, as well as the cities we serve, the team has spent months researching architecture, textiles, scenery, art, fashion, people and more to come up with authentic identities for the countries where Uber operates.”
