LG’s new series of smartphones will surely rock the market. Though you will get to know more about them from the coming Mobile World Congress 2016 that will take place next week, the trailer has already begun. Wait a little more to see a lot more of LG’s next premium phone, the G5. Along with the G5, the company is going to unveil two of their mid-range smartphones, Specialist S Series and the X cam and X screen.
The X cam and the X screen have –
- Android Marshmallow 6.0
- quad-core CPU
- 2GB of RAM, 16Gb internal storage
- 13MP / 5MP rear camera setup
- 1.76-inch screen displaying notifications
The X cam has a dual 13MP / 5MP rear camera setup to go with a curved finish up front, while the X screen steals its small always-on second-screen display feature from the V10, with a 1.76-inch screen that displays notifications, battery life and other info.
On the other hand, the G5 has an Always On display, and second, you will be able to get a Quick Cover case for it. The Korean company has announced that it is releasing a touch-enabled case for a smartphone that does not officially exist yet. LG says the cover is wrapped in ‘a unique film with a glossy metallic finish’ for a luxurious feel. Also, you’ll be able to take calls and control the alarm settings through its semitransparent mesh material, without having to open the case.
Both the G5 and the case will be on display at the previously mentioned Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on February 22nd to 25th. LG’s Specialist S series and the X cam and X screen will also be available on the same platform in Asia, Europe, and Latin America markets from the next month.
