A lucky person from Alaska has got his first Rift from Oculus Founder Palmer Luckey. After thorough testing for a couple of years, the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset is going to be in the market on Monday, but before that Ross Martin was the first person from Alaska who formerly pre-ordered to get the Oculus Rift which was worth $599.
Surprisingly, to give a huge thank you to Martin, Luckey made a long journey from California to hand over the first Rift box signing with his and his Oculus team where Martin lives in Alaska.
“We are both big gamers, and we were both homeschooled as kids. The biggest difference is that I grew up with surfboards while he grew up with sled dogs.” Luckey posted the video of his Facebook page, taking note of that he and Martin have a great deal in common.

The Oculus Rift is one of the impressive and futuristic pieces of technology to surface in recent years, and gamers and consumers had been eagerly waiting all this time to get their hands on the device.
Just like Martin, many more people will start to get their Rifts in due time.
