After a few heart sinking reviews from viewers regarding Batman V Superman in Dawn of Justice, the CEO of Warner Bros. Kevin Tsujihara, decided to take the leap of faith again starring Ben Affleck in the upcoming solo Batman movie.
“We’re working with Ben Affleck on a standalone Batman movie,” stated by the CEO of Warner Bros.”
The CEO also mentioned that there are 10 DC comic movies launching for the next 5 years, among which Ben Affleck will be playing the role of Batman simultaneously directing the entire movie. According to ComicBook, Ben Affleck, and Geoff Johns the CCO of DC Entertainment are both going to work on the direction of the film.
This possibility has been further strengthened by CEO who gave a positive feedback about a script formulated by Ben Affleck himself involving one of the scenes in the movie.
Furthermore, according to Affleck:
“Geoff Johns is a brilliant guy. He and I are working together on something and I really am excited about it, and I love him, he’s the best.”
None of the above information can be taken for granted until Warner Bros. gives confirmation, as provided by Tsujihara.
