LinkedIn has launched a new app called “LinkedIn Students” for college and university students that will help them get a job when they graduate.
According to LinkedIn, this app intends to inform and provide the endless conceivable outcomes and opportunities laid out for them that yet they are unaware of.
“Using insights from LinkedIn’s database of over 400 million professionals, the brand new app helps you discover jobs that are the best fit for graduates with your major, companies that tend to hire from your school and the careers paths of recent alumni with similar degrees.”
Ada Yu of LinkedIn wrote on a blog post.
“Think of it as your personal job exploration guide, providing tailored jobs related recommendations based on real data from the career paths of hundreds of millions of successful professionals. You can use these insights to discover and explore career opportunities you hadn’t considered or even known were possible!”
Moreover, the app also lets users browse profiles of recent alumni with the same major as them to help them with concerns and even ask for career tips and advice. So if you are a student with big future career plans, you can give it a try. The app is available on both iOS and Android.
