What if you could transform your image or drawing into music? Sounds great, right? However, PixelSynth, a new Chrome Experiment does exactly the same, except it produces extremely annoying music.
Using the drop down menu, you can adjust the speed, scale, and key. Also, the knobs for contrast and brightness allow you to change the image and the music.
Well, if you are expecting some animated rhythms and soothing melodies, you are absolutely wrong. The music will make think that you are in some kind of torture experiment. The music is so annoying that it seems like your ears will end up bleeding. Though the images are quite nice, the music is nothing compared to them.
However, this is basically an experiment, and unlike other Chrome Experiments, this is definitely not a tool that anyone will want to work with. However, converting images into music is actually an innovative idea and hopefully, in future, there will be a better tool to create better music.
