The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is warming up for the introduction of the much anticipated OnePlus 3 in the tech world. Earlier this week a total of 30,000 orders for the OnePlus VR glasses had been received so that the launch event of the OnePlus 3 can be watched in virtual reality. And today the probable launch date is leaked.
According to a tweet, the company may present the new OnePlus 3 on June 14th. An agent of OnePlus live chat, via OnePlus forum, has revealed the release date of the OnePlus 3.
However, whether the information is correct could not be known. OnePlus itself has not officially announced the date yet.
Anyone who has ordered a VR glass – OnePlus loops – gets them delivered around June 6. So, this was certainly clear that the introduction of the OnePlus 3 would not take place before June 6. An introduction just over a week later on June 14 could be so very logical. Until now, it was otherwise known that the OnePlus 3 was going to be presented in the month of July.
However, unlike the previous year, viewers of the launch event using the Loop VR will be able to buy the smartphone before anyone else.
What we know so far about the device’s specs include 5.5 inch AMOLED 1080p screen, Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4 or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, a 3,000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, and the return of NFC support.
