The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo, owner of the Motorola brand, has announced that the third generation of Motorola Moto E will come on the market in September. The company has thereby revealed some details of the new budget smartphone.
The Motorola Moto E series scores for years in a row very well. All devices of this series provide an exceptionally good balance between price, functionality, and quality, which certainly has not gone unnoticed by the public. It was already in line with expectations that the Moto E series again would have a successor this year before the successor was officially announced by Lenovo.
The new Motorola Moto E is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor. Possibly this is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. If this assumption is correct, it would be a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. What is known is that the new Moto E has at least 2 gigabytes of RAM.
There would be 16 gigabytes of internal storage with a Micro SD memory card slot so that the internal storage can be expanded via memory cards anyway.
In camera area is the third-generation Motorola Moto E equipped with an 8-megapixel camera at the rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. Furthermore, it is known that the smartphone has been given a battery with a capacity of 2,800 mAh. Finally, it is already clear that the device out of the box runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Uncertainty about availability
For now, Lenovo has just announced that the device will go on sale from September in Great Britain for 99 pounds. Although a release is obvious in Europe, Lenovo has not yet confirmed when the device will also be available in other European countries.
