Yes, we all know that Pokemon Go is currently the trendiest of all topics everyone is gossiping about. Gaming is no longer limited to a gaming console in our house only as this AR game is going make you leave your comfortable house to seek out the cute little monsters loitering in different parts of your city.
According to the reports of the O’Fallon Missouri Police Department, four armed individuals were spotted in St. Louis and St. Charles that used Pokemon Go for luring their victims in secluded spots and later mug them. Till now eleven teenagers between ages of 16 to 18 fell for this trap living in these two states. Basically, they are using those cute little Pokemon as baits to mug people like you and me.
The police forces of St. Louis and St. Charles is not entirely sure about how these muggers are able to mislead the players to dangerous locations to mug them, but they are assuming that these muggers attach a beacon to a Pokestop (you can purchase various in-game items from these stops), which mislead the gamers to vulnerable locations.
I think this is quite a tricky misuse of this latest AR game and highly likely that the developers Niantic Labs and Pokemon Co. were unable to forecast situations like this. For preventing further misuse of this game, the international launch date has already been postponed and by then a panacea could be made.
Apart from this, gamers have undergone more horrible experiences such as finding a dead body as a gamer was seeking for a cuddly little monster located in a dark alley.
You can save more battery power while playing the Pokemon Go game.
I don’t want to sound entirely pessimistic about the whole thing, but I believe gamers will also experience more positive moments like this playing this game.
