While ASUS recently released their ROG series Strix RX 480 with Tri-Fan cooling control, Gigabyte has announced its new RX 480 G1 Gaming Graphics card, which triumphs a clever custom cooling that is dead calm and has even lower than a single fan noise, and programming that takes into account simple overclocking. The card comes in two variations, with 4GB and 8GB of video RAM on board, however else they are indistinguishable. Gigabyte didn’t talk clock speeds in the data it released to the press, however the organization did great in its custom cooling solution!
The new 90mm cooling fans especially are crafted to cool down the card up to 23% with 2X Windforce technology. These are augmented by three copper heat pipes which are in direct contact with the GPU Core Chip and the VRAM Chips. Though there is a similar system to the one ASUS is also offering it’s rival ROG Strix Rx 480!
The technology of Windforce 2X is also quiet, even the fans don’t run while the pc stays idle. Gigabyte has also incorporated an indicator LED Light to the status of the fans of the GPU. The all new trend of the latest GPUs, 16million customizable colors, and various effects are made to add some extra glitz to decorate your PC with the LED Strips, or you can buy the EVGA Hue!
Gigabyte has its Xtreme Engine Utility on hand to manage these lights along with the overclocking, with a one-click OC mode button to easily juice up the performance of this graphics card!
