Redbooth is a software for attaining better productivity in business, designed for the Apple TV. The authority assured that it will be available from Thursday even though its development has started since 2015.
The leading person behind this Redbooth project is Ben Falk who said,
“That got us thinking about what cool way we could leverage the platform in a non-media-related way toward our guiding principle of making people more productive.”
The makers of Redbooth has primarily created this app for office workers who spend most of their time in front of their laptops, and the ones who have a huge TV hanging against the wall of conference rooms. As a result, these office employees no longer need to screen-share any updates related to their company policies as Redbooth can help attaining those tasks without any hassle.
This is an extremely simple app that will clearly list down the activities needed to be solved depending on the priority of each task. You can also tick away the responsibilities that have been taken care of as well as mark the unfinished ones if you need any reminder.
The Redbooth of Apple TV will be assisting in completing group tasks more conveniently for companies, such as calling everyone for attending team discussions; furthermore, anybody can take their incomplete tasks home if they want to.
The CEO of Redbooth Dan Shoenbaum stated,
“I don’t see this as a way of making you go home and work. When you’re on the go and working remotely this is a way to make you more productive.”
By creating Redbooth, Apple wants to deliver something for workplaces too and not just for consumers like us. And the app has been categorized under Business section in the Apple TV store. Could this be a sign that there are more apps on the way only for workplaces? Stay tuned to TTN for further information.
