There should be a moment, at least once in a lifetime, when every Batman fan has wished to be their favorite hero themselves, but one crazy fan is now the closest to making that dream a reality. A costume designer from Ireland named Julian Checkley has managed to create a Batman suit that not only looks like the big screen version but also functions close to that one. Studded with 23 different fully functional contraptions, this Batsuit is so badass that it earned him a World Record in Guinness World Records 2017: Gamer’s Edition.
These 23 gadgets make his Batman package all the more realistic. This realistic suit has everything needed to be the Batman of your own city, starting from a Grapnel Gun to a Gas Dispenser, and what’s not. The suit also includes Bat tracking device with a Bluetooth tracker; a fireball shooter; ultrasonic sound emitter; a video screen in the right gauntlet; gas dispenser; grapnel gun; folding Batarang; laser; gauntlet flashlight; medi-kit; strobe light gun; ball bearing grenade; UV light, flash bang, and well, a Bat flask.
Checkley didn’t earn the record just by making this suit. He had to prove to Guinness that all these gadgets were fully functional, showing the effort he put to make everything right.
Checkley, who is also a big time gamer, made this Batsuit based on the one found in Batman: Arkham Origins. This new batman may not start fighting crime in Gotham city right now, but his Batsuit is realistic enough to protect the streets of Galway, Ireland.
