Snapchat has become everyone’s favorite service to copy. Facebook and Instagram have already copied the stories feature from Snapchat. Also, during this Olympics, Facebook introduced its selfie feature. And now, the latest addition to this trend is WhatsApp, with its new camera features.
Doodle your image
The Facebook-owned app is introducing options to add emoji, add plain or colored text, or drawn on images and videos. So, if you think the image you’ve just taken is quite plain and boring, just use your finger to draw something on it, just like Snapchat. Back in early September, the feature was first introduced in a testing phase.
Take the perfect selfie and send it to friends
Well, the update is not only about emoji and drawing. The new camera features now allow your app to support your Android phone’s front-facing flash. With its pseudo-flash, it will brighten up the screen and improve the quality of your photo, allowing you to take better selfies in low light and night.
Zooming up is easier than ever
Apart from those updates, you can also zoom by sliding your finger up and down on the screen while recording a video, as well as double tap to switch between front and rear cameras.
Those amazing Snapchat style camera features are currently available on Android. However, the company says those features will be available on iPhone soon.
