It may sound a little far-fetched, but almost everything in the world could be controlled via apps. Soon, even your shower. The Dutch start-up Hamwells comes with the first batch of a total of 150 pieces of e-showers this week.
With the shower of the future, you can also stream music from under your shower and keep track of how much water you will save while showering. The e-shower is in fact extremely economical.
Saves 90 percent water
The company itself claims that e-shower turns the water consumption 90 percent lower during a shower. This is, according to the company a special filter that soaks up the water used and re-purify it in a short time through a special cleaning system. E-shower could play a major role in this way in combating climate change, drought and the slowly depleting drinking water.
Thanks to the investors who gathered the start-up 1.2 million euros. This week the first e-showers will be delivered to the first-time customers, which in the Netherlands are shipped within two weeks. Orders from abroad have to wait until the second half of 2017. Although economical, the showers are not cheap anyway. If you wanna have an e-shower for your home, it will cost you 2890 euros. Companies that want to go large, can get a hundred “only” 1,500 euros each.
