Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy seems to be going down the drain and if you are thinking what’s next for Mr. Trump then you might not have to wait for too long. Trump may be planning to retreat to his known domain the media that he accuses to be disgusting and biased. Trump’s advisors have been pitching media executives on a new venture to “capitalize on the Republican presidential candidates appeal.”
Online subscription channel
Trump is not thinking about going back to the days of The Apprentice or any other single TV shows. Son-in-law of Trump Jared Kushner is reaching out to investment banker Aryeh Bourkoff in recent months to build a whole new business empire according to The WSJ . Their idea is to create an online subscription video channel which will be the genesis of a cable TV channel latter maybe even a network. This step will be like following in the footstep of pundit Glenn Beck, who first started an online subscription channel then moved on to a network.
Also, Trump’s team is reported to have been contracting existing streaming services like Netflix or Hulu in the past months about Trump being a part of their offerings.
Trump’s teams commented on the issue saying “he’s currently only focused on winning the election.” Trump himself said earlier that he is planning to launch his own media network which he thinks is currently “ridiculous”.
