Messenger app for Windows 10 finally gets updated by Facebook and now it has the ability to make voice and video calls. You don’t need to exit the Messenger app then go to the browser to make calls again, now it has a similar but new phone or camera like iOS or Android. Tap any of the icons to make a call.
Maybe you didn’t get the feature yet but don’t be worried you will get it really soon. A spokesperson from Facebook stated that the update is only rolling out since last week so it will take some time to reach all of the devices. After getting the feature you will get call notifications and you will also be able to leave voice messages to the person you called. VentureBeat says “you’ll also be able to choose which camera to use, record your video calls and do group voice — not video, unfortunately — calls if the whole squad wants to chat.”
A Spanish website has reported that WhatsApp for Windows Phone was also updated by Facebook which now has video calling capabilities. But this is only a limited experimental release which is now only exclusively available for beta users. You will need to be very lucky to get it before anybody else.
