It has been wide speculated that Donald Trump is using the presidential campaign to expand his brand. That became even more apparent when it was rumored that if Trump loses than he will launch a video on demand service then eventually a network empire. But Trump himself buried those rumors during a radio interview.
Giving an interview to Cincinnati radio station 700WLW host Scott Sloan, He directly said he didn’t have any intensions to launch his own TV network.”No, I have no interest in Trump TV,” the presidential candidate said. Instead he said he was focused on the election and of course “making America great again.”
Trump saying something is not necessarily true or written in stone as we know from his various previous statements so, assuming the candidate is actually out of the media game will be wrong. His campaign already started to host a nightly show via Facebook Live and if it gets traction amongst viewers and then Trump loses the election which is a higher possibility so a word of advice, don’t be surprised if you see a giant gold T on your channel lineup.
So do you think Trump will open his own TV network?
