The founder and former CEO of world’s one of the largest technology corporation stepped his 62nd year of his life on 28th of October this year. Additionally, his wife Melinda Gates is now 52 years old. Currently, Gates is wearing the crown of the richest man.
As of late, in an interview he opened up that his issues will not get the enormous assets he accumulated over years.
However, the Gates couple has founded world’s largest private foundation in 2000 for operating philanthropic activities. Bill Gates and Melinda Gates are the two most significant personalities in the organization. Gates couple spends their money via this foundation. With a view to solving different global problems Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates donated 28 billion dollar so far. As of 2007, the couple was the 2nd most generous philanthropist.
The foundation got an identity as charity foundation which is conducting research on anti-mosquito technology and birth controlling.
Gates couple pledged that they will donate 95% of their assets. Children of Bill and Melinda are happy on this decision. Additionally, the couple has 3 children together, Jennifer, 20, Rory, 17, and Phoebe, 14. Jennifer is a 2nd year student at the Stanford University while Rory and Phoebe are studying at school. As parents Bill and Melinda inspire their children to attend college to be highly educated so that they can build their own career. The parents believe true happiness lies in building one’s own life. Setting aside assets for children’s future is fruitless as the couple thinks. Moreover, according to them, it may not be beneficial for the children or may create obstruction toward building a proper life.
