Plans for super-fast tube transportation by Hyperloop is taking its shape. Hyperloop partnered with Dubai to showcase a concept that shows how an autonomous Hyperloop system will work in Dubai alongside its current infrastructures. Several stations will be established across Dubai including Burj Khalifa and also a line between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A connection between these two destinations will dramatically reduce travel time. Now it takes almost 2 hours by car and after the tube being built it will take only 12 minutes.
For the wealthy
This concept also includes the designs of personal pods, so it is clear that Hyperloop One’s target market is UAE’s wealthy crowds. There would be posh interiors and optional seating arrangements that would accommodate groups for those on-the-go meetings, natural as well as solo luxury travelers.
This is still in its concept phase, no firm plan is in place yet. Hyperloop One is conducting a “detailed feasibility study” to see the best possible way to implement the system in real life. A working commercial version is still years away from production and also you have to assume that there are no huge obstacles on the way ahead. But it seems fair that between developing and manufacturing the product the company has a clear idea about how they want to proceed in the future and make Hyperloop One a reality.
