Google Pixel hacked in just under 60 seconds! A team of Chinese white hacking experts exhibited their outstanding skill at an international event in South Korea.
In case you haven’t heard about PwnFest, a hacking competition that takes place in Seoul, South Korea. A team of white hat hackers calling themselves Qihoo 360 revealed a bug in its system that enabled the team to manipulate Pixel remotely. Its OS was hacked within sixty seconds using a zero-day vulnerability.
Incidentally, a message showed on the screen, “PawNed by 360 Alpha Team” before launching the Google Play Store and Chrome web browser of mobile phone version.
The Qihoo 360 white hacking team of China earned $120,000 in cash for locating the bug from Google; furthermore, a patch developed by Google is on its way since it has already started working on it.
In addition to all these revelations, this bunch of extremely talented white hacking experts went home with $520,000 cash by proudly revealing some major flaws in Microsoft Edge with Windows 10 OS.
