Pressure against Donald Trump, the new President of the United States of America, has been on the rise since the day of the election; even before he manages to take the Presidential oath before becoming the active President of the west.
Edward Snowden is an American computer professional that worked with National Security Agency (NSA) as a contractor.
The whole world came to learn about this person’s existence in 2013 when he acted as a whistleblower. He secretly flushed all malpractices the government of the USA committed through NSA.
All the revelations Snowden exposed to the society revealed how the USA government was keeping track of its people; living outside the borders without knowledge. Their excuse was to preserve national security.
Edward Snowden is currently living in exile for three years now locked in Russian asylum.
Ever since these public revelations, the activists of the West are working to preserve privacy, demanding for more anti-spying laws. Under the Section 215 of the Patriot Act, the NSA can no longer collect and store data of the American citizens and their phone records.
Donald Trump urged to bring Snowden in America if he were the President (which he is now already) with an apology. Consequently, people mocked him on twitter as the probability of him becoming the President was almost nil. People now want Donald Trump to prove himself a man of words by bringing Snowden in America.
On the other hand, Snowden himself preferred Trump over Clinton during the electoral process. As per his twit, “a choice between Donald Trump and Goldman Sachs.”
There were numerous reports stating about close inspections made by the Democratic party on Julian Assange and his WikiLeaks organization for assisting Donald Trump to win the election. Perhaps this gave birth to a new and unbreakable vow between the parties; also influenced voters to name Trump as their new President.
