The successor for the flop G5 has to be the most revolutionary smartphone by LG in 2017. Experts say that LG bet on a smartphone which would fade the other flagship smartphones from its competitors.
Every well-known smartphone manufacturer brings one or more flagship smartphones every year. These devices show that a manufacturer is capable of lifting the abilities and technologies of smartphones to an even higher level.
A loss project
Every year there are a number of achievers but also there are some losers. LG was one from the latter this year with its flagship G5. Although the company initially high pitched eyes with the modularity and the removable battery of the G5. Still, consumers were not warm to the device, making flagship a flop. This, reportedly, has resulted in a loss of over 60 million for the company.
LG has the successor to the G5 in development for quite some time. Since it is obvious that the device will be presented in the spring of 2017, the development of the device is now in the final phase. According to experts, the company bet on one of the most comprehensive sets of 2017 and wants to fade other flagship smartphones.
Three features that would most probably appear in the anticipated G6 are an iris scanner, removable battery and the option to pay with the mobile device. The G6 featuring an iris scanner makes sense since LG unveiled a camera module last month in which the company combined iris scanner and a camera in one component.
LG, however, itself has not commented on the rumors and assumptions.
