It is obviously a good sign for the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi that the company sold out over 2 million devices in Q3 this year in India as the head of Xiaomi’s Indian branch Kumar Jain tweeted recently about this success.
Well, Jain twitted that “for the 1st time we surpassed 2+Mn sales one quarter (Q3 this year). A whopping 150+% YoY growth, from Q3 2015 to Q3 2016! @ZiaomiIndia.” However, he also said that “Mi India has been warmly welcomed by users, which is why we are one of the fastest growing brands in the smartphone industry today – one out of every four smartphones sold online was Xiaomi.”
Furthermore, you will be more surprised hearing that as the quarter (Q4) is already on the way Xiaomi – which has now entered India’s disconnected market too – effectively sold 1 million telephones in the initial 18 days of October. Thus, it’s possible that the firm will set another business record this quarter.
Oh, one more thing is that the most noteworthy deals Xiaomi has enrolled in India as far back as it entered the market in July 2014.
This is really a remarkable achievement for this Chinese company abroad and we hope that in the future they will do even better.
