The system camera has a dedicated button to record video directly. This can be done with up to 1080p 30fps. The 16.3-megapixel sensor is of the APS-C-type and the ISO range is from 200 to 6400.
The standard zoom kit lens is XC16-50mmF 3.5-5.6 OIS II. The camera also features a Portrait Enhancer mode that makes your skin look smoother and brighter.
Selfies and Vloggers
The LCD can be tilted 180 degrees into “selfie-mode” and if the user activates the camera, its eye recognition automatically focuses on faces.
In addition, Fujifilm claims the grip is adjusted in a way that the camera is pleasant to hold if the user points it at himself. The manufacturer, therefore, tries to hook on the popularity of selfies and vloggers.
“Other new functions include the interlocking of Metering and AF areas, support for the Adobe RGB color space, and choice of different colors in Focus Peaking for assisting MF.”
“The Remote Shoot function lets you adjust exposure and other settings, focus and take photos from your smartphone or tablet device.”
Delivery of the camera will start in January for $499.
