5 tips to maintain your Smartphone’s battery

On average, most Smartphone batteries last between one and two days before its complete depletion. But, if you play games, listen to mp3s, snap pictures, have access to the internet, and stream videos the case is different. Battery life has always been a concern for the users. Here are 5 tips to maintain your Smartphone’s battery.

Turn off vibrations

Vibrations actually consume a significant amount of power. So, disable vibrations in places where it doesn’t matter.

Dim mobile screen

Dimming your screen will reduce your Smartphone’s power consumption. You may tune the level permanently to the dimmest level that you can still read under without straining your eyes.

Charge battery correctly

To keep your battery lasting longer, find out more about the type of battery that your Smartphone has and maintain the appropriate charging strategy for optimum usage.

Close unnecessary apps

As often as possible, close your apps if you are not using them. There are some valuable apps out there that manage the multitasking ability of your Smartphone to ensure it performs at its best to conserve battery life without jeopardizing usage.

Minimize notifications

Irrelevant notifications that can actually wait will light up your screen, make a sound alert or vibrate and will suck the power of your phone’s battery. So, manage your settings well and disable unnecessary notifications to save a little battery power.
