Recently an app analytics firm called Apptopia has disclosed a record breaking news that Super Mario Run known as the Nintendo’s first official mobile game has broken the world record in App Store history of being downloaded 2.85 million times in just a day. Yes, believe it or not, it has happened on the first day of Super Mario Run game launching. This game has also broken the one-day download’s record of Pokemon Go which was 900,000 downloads on the launching day.
Behind this success, there is a major reason that initially Super Mario Run game has launched in 150 countries while Pokemon Go just launched in some selected countries for its first season.
Furthermore, Super Mario Run was initially reported at Apple’s iPhone keynote as Nintendo’s first Mario game for the mobile platform. The game is free to download and the initial three levels are allowed to play while for the rest of the levels consumers need to pay a certain amount of money for one-time as $9.99 to opens them all without any promotions.
If the download pace goes like this then there is no doubt that very soon Super Mario Run will break the first-week downloads on the App Store which Pokemon Go had back in July this year.
