It seems Facebook may be considering making group voice calling available on the desktop. The social network giant is already testing the features with a very small number of users, who are possible users that have signed on for beta testing earlier. To find out if you have been chosen to test the feature, open a group message on your messenger and look for phone icon on the top left corner. To activate this feature you will only need to click on the icon if you want to invite your friends to a multi-person call.
Group calling with family and friends
This group call feature was officially launched by Facebook for its Messenger App back in April 2016. Making this feature available on computers will make easier for all of your friends to get into the conversations and not leave anyone out. Though there are other apps like Skype that already have this feature but messenger app will be easier to coordinate large calls with family and friends because most of them are already in it. This is only still an experimental feature so it’s not clear that you will be able to have a conversation with 50 people at once like messenger app or you will ever officially get it on your computer.
Are you excited about this new feature?
