The CES 2017 will hit the ground of Las Vegas this Thursday. And with the expectation that robots and artificial intelligence will be the main theme of this event, LG is preparing to unveil some of its new robots.
“By leveraging powerful analytical processing power, LG’s robotic lineup will be able to navigate complex environments and decipher the most efficient and effective path to accomplish tasks, making people’s lives easier at every touch-point,” LG says.
During the event, LG is going to unveil at least three new robots, including a “Hub Robot” that could theoretically replace your Echo speaker. The flagship is designed to serve as both a smart home platform as well as a personal assistant.
Another robot getting a preview at CES 2017 is engineered to take care of your yards and gardens. Also, the robots lineup will include a Pepper like a robot that will help you at commercial places such as airports and hotels. The latter one seems to be a good initiative in order to improve the traveler’s experience.
The CES 2017 is going to be an event full of robots as LG is pouring so much effort on it. The event will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Jan. 5-8, and there will be LG’s CES press conference on January 4.
