On January 27 ”Evan Blass” leaked an image of LG’s upcoming smartwatches through his Twitter post. Well, his Twitter image implies two colors of smartwatches as it can be clearly seen that one is in silver while another one is in rose gold color. At the bottom of the tweet, he also wrote the following
“LG Watch Style, in silver (top) and rose gold (bottom).”
According to Evan’s earlier tweet from January 16, we came to know that the search engine giant Google and LG are getting ready to unveil their smartwatches on February 9, and both company’s smartwatches are run by Android Wear 2.0 Beta. At the event, LG was supposed to launch two watches called the LG Watch Sport and the LG Watch Style.
LG Watch Style smartwatch features a 1.2 inch 360×360 circular P-OLED screen, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 240mAh battery and more importantly it is IP67-certified, but unfortunately, it won’t include the same features as the Watch Sport like NFC, GPS, mobile data, and a heart rate sensor.
Not only do we have the February 9 event to look forward to but at the end of February, on 27th of the month, there is another big tech event, the MWC, which is going to take place in Barcelona. So, we are looking forward to both events and let’s see what Google and LG bring for tech lovers.
