Navigating, listening to music and being able to talk with utmost convenience while driving a motorbike are what everyday bikers want; and that’s why CrossHelmet came up with a smart helmet for bikers that ensures safety and allows bikers to commute and communicate while driving.
Features of the helmet
This smart helmet for bikers has inbuilt GPS, music player with Bluetooth connection and heads up display. The tiny lenses set inside shows the HUD, which also shows your current location if you have the GPS switched on.
The feed from the cameras can be viewed as well. Moreover, its built-in speakers can play outstanding music with noise control functionality for reducing the noise level.
How is it going to be helpful?
This smart helmet can perform all the functionalities of a regular smartphone, and its noise cancellation feature allows riders to make perfectly audible phone calls by canceling the sound of the passing wind.
More importantly, its rear cameras have proven to be the most useful feature as motorbikes do not allow riders to check behind.
I tried one of these smart helmets when a black bar on the left lens felt was blocking my view partially. I inquired the salesperson, who assured me that helmet was only meant for display.
The website of CrossHelmet shows the company going to launch the product in either May or June, shipping out for a global presence. The latest prototype is not going to be available until 2018.
