One of the most frustrating things that I feel is when I fall asleep without remembering to charge my phone and in the morning, have to go out for office or class and me being me, I wake up an hour before that which leaves me no time to charge my phone. Halfway through the day my battery dies and I have to go through all the trouble to find a port to charge it or just use a friend’s phone to make a call. No, I don’t own a power bank and if I did own one, I would even forget to charge that.
I am sure many of you face the same trouble as me on a very regular basis. So here is a simple hack which will significantly charge your phone almost instantaneously.
Materials for the hack
- Your phone
- Your Phone’s charger
- Tin foil
- Copper Wire
Take the length of wire and cut it, 6 feet tops. Wrap the wire around your phone horizontally, ensuring it is spread entirely across the body of your phone. Now take the tin foil, tear and fold it according to the width of your phone and wrap it on top of the wire. The tin foil with the coil once wrapped can be slid open and back in so you don’t have to wrap it every time you are charging your phone.
Test and logic behind it
So, when your phone has a low battery, may be 1 %, slide the foil and the coil wrap over your phone and plug it in for about 10 seconds. When you unplug it after 10 seconds, you will see an increase of a 70% or more of charge. I know it sounds weird and unbelievable but this does work. The reason behind is when you charge your battery, it creates an electric potential difference between the wall and the battery so the electricity will move from high charge to low charge. The issue with new smartphones are they are really thin so this electric potential difference sort of escapes out of the phone so the foil traps it. The wire creates a force field across the phone causing a double induction of current which is why the phone charges so fast. In short, we are sort of recycling the escaped field and adding on to it.
