The release date of this feature was kept in mystery. This mystery was investigated by Paranoid Android Police, who reported a software update to version 90387 that added an option for “Paired Bluetooth devices” in settings. This will allow all nonsmart devices that don’t support the Google Home app to join alongside Android or iOS.
