Prisma– an iOS app was a huge hit last year. It was a common phenomenon where hundreds of people posted multicolored abstract pictures of themselves in social media. This year, Prisma made yet another unique contribution to the selfie community. Prisma made an app called Sticky AL that turns selfies into stickers in an abstract yet artistic form.
Sticky AL is a new app is the second product from the developer following the company’s Al-powered art filter app. This time it is a little different. Sticky al instead of transforming pictures into works of art, it aims to go further beyond. This app would allow you to transform a selfie to stickers which can be used in iMessage, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat and much more. The goal of this app is to create something more realistic than the mainstream emojis or stickers that are so popular today.
So, the 1st thing you can do after installing the app is, either snap a picture or import it from your photo library. What sets the app apart from any regular selfie with a caption attached to it is, it instantly cuts the background out and just leaves the people on a transparent background. Alternatively, you can press and hold the camera button to take shots that will automatically be stitched together into an animated sticker or GIF, according to your preference.
There are two basic black and white outline effects and a vaguely cartoonish style that can be added but you can also add tons of background color by tapping on the cutout photo. Along with that, a text icon allows captions in different languages. You can send this edited sticker to literally any app or platform that allows images from the iOS Share Sheet.
This is one of the easiest custom-made sticker/selfie app that I have come across yet. I would definitely recommend the Apple users to give it a try.
