Having 250 million daily active users Facebook’s Instagram Stories has surpassed Snap’s daily active users by a significant count (160 million). The current difference continues to rise, and being an online marketer I can proudly say that my effort resulted in marvelous returns from my business through Instagram.
The fleeting nature of Stories after 24 hours is a reason why businesses aren’t still using the tool on a regular basis. But think of it as a tool that can intrigue your customers while immediately making them call for action, or at least making them aware of your presence.
Conveying a story visually…
One of the main reasons for me loving as well as recommending people to use Instagram Stories is that it gives you the ability to tell a visual story to your customers.
As users generally keep tapping to skip from one story to another, I think it is wise to allocate information across multiple stories for triggering suspense. Each of the stories must revolve around the usage of a product to make them relatable.
As a matter of fact, you will soon observe greater interaction from your followers. This technique is particularly useful for educating customers related to using your product or service. For online participation, this could be a tremendously useful tool for brand building.
Do not forget about the “Swipe Up” option
The “Swipe Up” option is available for businesses only for driving their followers straight to their respective website. Followers are less likely to swipe up unless “swipe up for link” is mentioned in your stories.
This technique could be useful when you’ve published a new content or uploaded a video on Youtube. After telling a visual story for linking a product available on your website.
What’s going on behind the scenes…?
Credibility is vital for online businesses to ensure continuous sales with a sustainable growth rate. Therefore, showing what goes on behind the scenes will generate a sense of reliability and authenticity among followers for empowering employees to further promote their company.
Implement this technique whenever employees are celebrating or spending quality time together within your business premises. For creative agencies, the Instagram Stories can be used during their brainstorming sessions for coming up with creative artworks or messages.
The results may not be imminent as branding requires time and continuous dedication.
The first step is to foster a great relationship with customers to build credibility. These techniques mentioned above are simple, yet they will definitely result in further success if practiced diligently and routinely by real people.
