Can Veni Vidi Vici be attributed to Uber? The ride-hailing company conquered cities and towns around the world. And now it eyes the sea. In order to dominate the sea, the transportation elephant launched its boating service on June 26th. Moreover, Uber Technologies‘ UberBoat service is in Croatia.
UberBOAT in Croatia
Uber permanently launched its service on the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia, an on-demand speedboat service available through its app. Thus, one can easily travel by water on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. Though, previously we saw an onrush that the company temporarily rolled out its operation in different harbors like Boston, Miami, and Istanbul.
However, now one can hail a speedboat whenever he/she wants. By UberBOAT you can hire a speedboat for up to 12 people via the Uber app. Nevertheless, sadly the service isn’t currently available everywhere.
Davor Tremac, General Manager of Uber in Croatia and Southeast Europe, said: “UberBOAT will offer locals and tourists a new way of exploring and traveling around the Croatian coast by providing a unique yet reliable and straightforward adventure to the islands around Split. Hvar and Dubrovnik.
“We are confident that the service will greatly increase on-demand island travel while contributing the overall growth of Croatian tourism.”
