Visabot, the Facebook Messenger-based chatbot began its journey last year by helping people with the US visa application process. And now, it’s expanding its assistance portfolio by helping you apply for a green card.
“We created our own immigration AI so our success rate grows as the bot learns,” Visabot COO Andrey Zinoviev announced at VentureBeat’s MB 2017 show. “What you need to do is answer ‘are you a us citizen’ [and] other things you should know, and the bot will use this info to generate the whole package for you. All you have to do is file it with the US immigration services.”
Hitherto the chatbot has helped 70,000 people with the US visa application process. Just like its previous system, Visabot’s green card service will help people go through the questionnaire and fill the answers in an appropriate form.
Shortly after the US presidential election, Visabot launched for the first time. The AI added a new service in February to help young immigrants qualifying for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, also known as “dreamers.”
