After months of speculations, yesterday at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple’s new HQ, the American tech giant unveiled its most awaited smartphone iPhone X along with two more new iPhones respectively the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. However, the iPhone X will come in the market a bit later, as the company said the pre-orders would begin on October 27, and the release will be November 3. The other two new flagships, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, will release this month on September 25, following the pre-orders from September 17.
All about the iPhone X
The iPhone X would have to be the best looking and the fastest handset Apple has ever made. There’s no doubt that the iPhone X is already blowing the minds of smartphone lovers all over the world. It has no home button rather a 5.8-inch OLED super retina display which goes edge to edge, and top to bottom, except a little black bar which houses the front camera and sensors. By the way, this time there is no finger print unlock system on the iPhone X to unlock the phone but Apple has created a new feature called “Face ID” and it is just incredible.
Once you set your face ID on the iPhone X, the phone will be detecting you every time to recognize your face even if you are in the dark or wearing spectacle. Most importantly, with the Face ID, Apple pay has become more secure and easier to use. While paying through Apple Pay, you just need to look at your iPhone X then the payment will be done within the blink of an eye.
No home button
So, how do you wake up the phone, if there’s no home button? Well, it is also very simple, you just need to sweep your finger from the bottom of the phone, and that’s it. There is also a power button on the side, which also helps the phone to lock and wake up as well.
Glass on the front and back
All three new flagships have a strong back and front Glass cover, which allows for wireless charging, Apple is calling it Air Power. There is also an Apple A11 Bionic chipset, 12-megapixel dual rear camera, while the front one is 7 mega pixels, 64 or 256 GB of storage, 3GB of RAM. The price of the phone is $999, with the two color options: Space Gray or Silver.
