BlackBerry has released its new flagship “BlackBerry Motion”. The smartphone has no physical keyboard and uses a fully 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen. The Motion comes in with a mid-range budget of $460. The company has chosen to sell the device in Middle East markets first.
Well, BlackBerry Motion is run by Android 7.1. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 625 chip, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and has a 12-megapixel rear camera. To unlock the phone, just as any other touchscreen smartphone, BlackBerry Motion has a home button which has a fingerprint reader. The phone also has a 4,000mAh powered battery. Oh, one more important thing about the phone is that it’s water-resistant. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
There is no talk yet as to when BlackBerry Motion will find its way to North American or European markets. So far we have come to know that among the chosen Middle Eastern markets, UAE and Saudi Arabia are set to sell it at the value of $460.
It is quite refreshing to see that BlackBerry has changed its old ways. Honestly, in this touchscreen era consumers will not prefer to go for a half physical keyboard and half screen set up. Especially, when fully touchscreen smartphones are found in the same price range.
