While technology has given more powerful cameras built-in to mobiles and more sharing mechanisms, it has also brought an inconvenient truth to our selfie-freak generation – nudes. Most of the celebrities, as well as young people looking for a romantic connection, have one or two nude photos in their mobile. You definitely don’t want to share those sensitive pictures with everyone, but what if your phone is stolen or your cloud account got hacked? Well, there’s a solution, and it is also Nude, an AI-powered iOS app that will safely put your sensitive photos into a private vault, deleting them from your iPhone, as well as from iCloud.
The sexiest and the safest
Mentioned as “the sexiest app ever,” Nude is also the safest option to sort your sensitive photos. Created by two 21-year-old entrepreneurs from UC Berkley, this app uses machine learning to scan your camera roll and detects nudes automatically and moves them to a private vault (only works for the first release though). You can also manually import any photos seem inappropriate to you to share publicly. The private vault is PIN protected, so only you can access those photos later. And the most interesting part is anyone who tries to guess your in-app PIN and fails, Nude will take a picture of them using the front camera.
More than nudes
I don’t have any nude photos on my phone, so I don’t need this app. Wrong! This app will store something more than just your nudes. According to the founders, though aimed at naked photos, the Nude app could be a good place to store your sensitive information, such as photos of your passport, your certificates, even your credit card. Sounds pretty good, Huh!
Nude is currently only available on iOS. However, an Android version is in the works. The app is free to download, with a subscription fee of $1 for a month and $10 for a year.
