The foldable smartphone may be the next trend in the smartphone market. As numerous tech giants are working on the foldable devices including Samsung, LG, and ZTE. The latter in particular has already stirred the tech market with its Axon M foldable smartphone.
Now another tech giant, Huawei also spelled out a secret about its future smartphone. As you have already guessed, it is going to be foldable too. In an interview with CNET, Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu said that his company is working on foldable smartphones which could be released next year.
According to Huawei, right now the company is looking to upgrade its screen technology and wants to create a far better mechanical design for its foldable smartphone. Regarding this, CEO Richard Yu was quoted saying “We have two screens, but we still have a small gap. That’s not good, and we should get rid of the gap”. He also said that Huawei’s foldable smartphone would become number 1 among others foldable smartphones in the world.
By the way, next year Samsung is supposed to release its foldable smartphone dubbed as Galaxy X. So, let’s all get ready for the next battle among smartphone makers to see which one will be the best execution of this concept.
