The Dark Side of IoT and WiFi

by William Greenwood
-- November 4, 2017
The Dark Side of IoT and WiFi

Popularity for WiFi and IoT is at its peak. Consciously or subconsciously we’re increasing our reliance on wireless technology. According to Statista, currently, people use more than 20.3 IoT connected devices around the world. But, how many of us dare to know the Dark Side of IoT and WiFi.

Radio wave

As a matter of fact, we connect the mobile phone, tablet, laptop, and other devices with WiFi router using radio wave. Moreover, a large number of IoT devices go up sharply. Using such a large number of devices made the radiation exposure more severe.

Complex symptoms

“In my area (of work), I see a lot of patients, especially young ones, who come up with complex symptoms. These symptoms were not so common earlier. I have been in the Medicine field since 1985. I am talking about things (symptoms) of the last 10 years, which I did not see in my last 20 years before that,” Dr. Vikas Nehru, an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) surgeon by profession and training, told a news portal, Economics Time.

He further said, “There are certain medical problems which we ourselves had also not seen earlier. We had no diagnosis and treatment. I researched a lot in this field. These problems are related to things that happened particularly in the last 10 years, though it started in the later part of the 20th century”.

Global Wireless Spiderweb

However, Doctor Nehru works in Dubai, published a book, “Global Wireless Spiderweb”. In the book, he discussed, how growing use of technology is affecting the human body. The book encapsulates elaborative discussion on electromagnetic radiation. More frustrating to know, there is no diagnosing and curing process of tech-created ailments. He also shared that he’s done an extensive research in this area. The ENT surgeon opined that ailments like, brain tumor, infertility, electro-hypersensitivity and alike are increasing tremendously by dint of wireless technology. Eventually, it can damage the DNA.

Unethical Role by Tech Corporations

The invisible web of radiation is becoming denser day by day. People barely talk about this alarming issue. Giant corporations keep it as a taboo. For the sake of the business interest, these companies even employed lobbyists to keep the critiques ineffective. Surprisingly, even government isn’t considering the health impact before approving such harmful thing.

Warning!

All in all, Dr. Nehru warned, “We are increasingly exposed to an invisible web of radiation all around us through the wireless devices we love so much. With the advent of cloud computing and the Internet of Things set to launch more than a trillion smart devices, the radiation is only going to get worse”.
