Android phones are considered smart but there is no fixed rule to that. Future model is Japanese manufacturer who recently developed the “NichePhone – S” which runs on Android and can fit into your wallet right beside credit cards. It looks more like a pocket calculator rather than a cellular phone.
NichePhone-S is a black & white android phone while iPhone X is causing fevers all around. This phone works as a basic phone. Phone calls, SMS, music playback. Android 4.2 seems a bit overwhelming for black and white displays. Connectivity is limited to Bluetooth which makes up for wireless headsets. WiFi Tethering is only available, makes the 3G carrier as a hotspot for other devices. Voice recorder sounds like a feature on this phone!
The design is where it outcasts other basic phones.
- Height 90 mm
- Width 50 mm
- Thickness 6.5 mm
- Weight 38 g
Nichephone-S fits right beside your credit card and is lightweight as well. The usage of this phone is limited to its talk time which is about 3 hours. Though Battery capacity is 550 mAh, with wireless charging looking legit.
This device won’t help you to access social apps or media. It might help in emergency cases or during travel. Being small and lightweight makes it easy to carry during the expedition. Least it won’t interfere with notifications while tampering eyes with nature.
This phone will be available from 10th November only in Japan. Price is $95 which appears expensive for a basic phone.
