Facebook is quite eager to know if the users think it’s “good for the world.” The social network is asking an unspecified number of people by sending a poll.
Once you log in, the poll will appear under “We’d like to do better,” with possible responses ranging from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree.”
Well, this is nothing new. Facebook regularly creates polls to get users’ reactions on its service. The latest one comes after the recent privacy scandal involving Cambridge Analytica, a British political consulting firm that wrongfully used data from the social network in the 2016 presidential campaign. Besides, last week there was a huge uproar among its employees after a 2016 memo written by Andrew Bosworth got leaked. Under these circumstances, this poll is really important for Facebook to ensure it’s actually good for the world.
