Here is a great news for iPhone users. This year, most probably Apple is going to unveil a dual SIM featured iPhone. According to the memo from KGI Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo to investors, this year Apple is going to offer dual-SIM variants of two of the three purported iPhone models set to be released later this year.
Regarding of the price, Kuo also added that Dual SIM iPhone will support for a 6.1-inch LCD variant and it might cost anywhere between $650 and $750 or $550 to $650 for a single SIM version while a 6.5-inches exclusive OLED variant’s iPhone might also appear with a dual SIM support. But for sure the smallest 5.8-inch OLED isn’t expected to get a dual SIM option.
Dual SIM is particularly popular in Latin America, Europe, and Asian markets but not in the USA. However, this year if Apple brings its dual SIM featured iPhone for the first time, then no doubt that other duel featured tech companies, particularly who are already dominating Asia, Europe or Latin American market, they must take Apple as a heavy competitor because iPhone is also demandable smartphone in those markets as well.
Apple didn’t say anything in reaction to its dual SIM fact. However, the next iPhone launch is still more than 5 months away to hit. So, let’s wait for Apple to hear something about its duel feature iPhone.
