Apple’s latest phone’s end is coming soon. Death of Apple’s iPhone X is near, as an analyst foretells. In fact, iPhone X isn’t performing well in terms of sales.
In a CNBC interview, an analyst said that he thinks Apple will discontinue its iPhone X later this year. The analyst, Neil Campling is the co-head of the global thematic group focusing on technology at Mirabaud securities.
Neil Campling wrote in a note, “with the declines in iPhone X orders and the inventory issue at TSMC at record highs, which basically reflect a need to burn off inventory. Why? Because the iPhone is dead”.
The analyst figured out the problem. He thinks that iPhone X’s price is too much. Consequently, “customers are turning their backs on high-priced smartphones”- Campling.
However, Campling assumes that Apple will stop manufacturing new iPhone X, instead, the company will sell off the remaining iPhone X before it unveils its next smartphone.
Though according to experts’ say, the reason behind discontinuing iPhone X is low demand for the phone. In reality, it’s quite difficult to know about the exact demand for iPhone X. As a matter of fact, Apple maintains crude secrecy in terms of the sales of certain models of phones.
Yet, customers still can buy iPhone X from the old inventories. Nevertheless, there won’t be a new production of iPhone X.
