Starting a new business? These task management apps could help you become organized

In our day to day working life, dealing with multiple deadlines is a common thing. With a huge to-do list, it’s pretty normal to feel under pressure. However, thanks to modern technology, we no longer have to rely on paper-based mechanisms to manage our works. With the help of the task management apps, now we can plan, track and report a task over a certain period of time.

When it comes to choosing an app for task management, it’s important to consider some factors such as, the complexity of works, size of the workplace, as well as how much money you want to spend on those apps. Here, we will discuss some of the popular task management apps that may help you choose which one you need for your organization.

Trello

Not only a personal favorite but also one of the most popular business productivity software available in the market. With its multi-platform support, Trello helps you organize both your personal and professional tasks. It has a very friendly user interface where you can create different boards to organize your tasks. You can categorize those boards based on your works, invite co-workers and assign them tasks. To make sure that you’re on track, there is an option to put feedback.

Available on both desktop and mobile devices, Trello is a cloud-based platform. It’s a free app and lets you create as many boards as you want. However, if you have a bigger organization and are looking for more features, you can always go for a Business Class plan costing $9.99 (£7) per month and an Enterprise offering running to $20.83 (£15) per month.

Easynote

As the name suggests, this app is quite easy to use. Whether it’s your shopping list or a multi-platform project, you can easily organize and track everything. Easynote lets you create, assign, put deadlines to your work, as well as track the progress of the work.  It comes with alarms and reminders, as well as option to provide feedback to your co-workers.

Like Trello, Easynote is a free app but limited to only 1GB of free storage and 10MB of file uploading. However, the upgraded version is quite affordable. You can get the Business plan with 5GB of storage and 50MB of file uploading capacity for $5 (£3.50) per month, or the Extended product with 10GB of storage and 100MB of uploading capacity for $10 (£7) per month.

Centrallo

One of the simplest and most elegant apps that let you keep track on both your personal and professional life at the same time. With Centrallo, you can add as many notes as you want, and include video link, photos, and due dates to the lists. You can collaborate with your team members using the app. Besides, the app allows you to edit your lists using your smartphone, means there’s no way you would miss anything.

There is a free version of this app, which is restricted to 100 notes, with a relatively small amount of cloud storage. If you think this free version isn’t enough for your big organization, you can get the premium version, which costs an affordable $4.99 (£3.50) per month.

Accelo

If you’re looking for an all-in-one solution for your business, then Accelo could be your best choice. It’s a cloud-based platform, which integrates various aspects of business within a single app. You can create tasks, drag and drop charts to manage your tasks. It comes with a project tracking feature, which lets you monitor outcomes, resources, as well as budgets. There is a time scheduling tool that helps you find your skilled employees.

Accelo comes with a free trial for you to decide whether you want to further use it. If you like the app, you can get the paid service with a minimum of $34 (£24) per month billed annually.

Monday.com

It’s a business-oriented app, which lets you hand over tasks to your team members and track every step they are taking to complete those tasks. You can create comprehensive to-do lists and share them with your co-workers. You can include details like job status, priority, as well as a timeline.

What I like most about Monday.com is, it comes with a built-in chat option, which lets you communicate with your teammates individually. It’s a very secure app as it comes with two-factor authentication, single sign-on and audit logs. Besides, all the data stored in the app is encrypted. If you’re interested to get the service, you can get a 5GB package for 5 team members with a £22 ($31) monthly fees.

So, which service are you interested in? you can choose any one of the above-mentioned task management apps. Each of them will more or less help you to organize your business.
