You may be thinking that Apple is one of the most innovative tech giants around the world. But believe it or not, the American tech giant copied a lot from its rival Android and here are some examples may wonder your mind.
The Face Unlock
Last year with the iPhone X, Apple introduced a face recognition feature called “Face Unlock,” which the company claimed that Face ID is very special because of its iPhone’s TrueDepth camera. It may sound better to Apple but the real truth is, back in 2011 Samsung first introduced the facial recognition feature to the world.
Not only Samsung but since a long time, Nokia and Motorola also have been using OLED display for their smartphones while Apple just last year used the same feature in its iPhone X smartphone. Even, the company still relies on Samsung to get OLED display for Apple’s iPhones.
In this competition, Apple was also late to join. For example, Google offered this feature back in 2013 with its Nexus 4 smartphone while Samsung has already been passing through several years on wireless charging competition.
Last year Apple introduced the fast charging feature with its iPhone 8 and iPhone X, which let the phone be charged 50% in just half an hour. Believe me, this feature is already old now because Androids were already using the fast charging feature two years before those phones were unveiled.
Edge to edge display
Last year, through iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S8, Edge to edge display came on focus. But, do you know that before them the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi first introduced the bezel-less feature in its Mi Max smartphone.
