1.8 billion registered-users watch videos on YouTube each month as the CEO of YouTube, Susan Wojcicki says. They use the platform quite almost regularly. However, the calculation doesn’t include those watch videos without an account.

The Verge reported, “Wojcicki announced the milestone at YouTube’s Brandcast presentation to advertisers, alongside some of the year’s most noteworthy successes — like Beyoncé’s record-setting 41 million live stream views at Coachella and the “Despacito” music video passing 5 billion views last month. The company previously announced that it had 1.5 billion logged-in monthly users in mid-2017”.
However, according to the CEO, the largest video uploading and watching platform also faced some problems. Many questioned over inappropriate kids’ videos and conspiracy theories on the platform. Wojcicki said, “it is incredibly important to me and to everyone at YouTube that we grow responsibly”. As a matter of fact, the YouTube CEO also mentioned that changes like a YouTube kids option for human-curated videos and a promise to hire 10,000 moderators. Nevertheless, it appears to still be in progress. Previously, in the middle 2017, the company said that it had 1.5 billion logged- in monthly users.
